Support plan builder
Turn the learner’s own words, the barriers they face and the adjustments you agree into a plain-language support plan with owners and a review date.
Free tools
Practical tools for inclusion leads, tutors, assessors and quality teams in further education and apprenticeships. Free, no sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.
Seven free tools that help you hear the learner, agree support, deliver it and review whether it worked. Each one runs entirely in your browser, stores nothing, and gives you a result you can copy, print or download.
These tools are for the everyday work of learner support in England’s further education colleges and apprenticeship providers. They follow the same four-stage journey as our support process: Understand what helps in the learner’s own words, Agree a plan the learner has seen, Deliver and record support, then Review whether it worked.
They do not make decisions for you. They give structure and prompts so conversations and records are clearer. The judgement stays with you and the learner.
Turn the learner’s own words, the barriers they face and the adjustments you agree into a plain-language support plan with owners and a review date.
Pick the barriers and settings a learner describes, such as workshops, placements or online learning, and get adjustment ideas to discuss with them.
Filter more than 60 open, respectful questions by stage and setting. Choose the ones that fit and export your own conversation guide.
Build a structured agenda for a support review, with prompts to keep, change or stop each adjustment based on what the learner tells you.
A private self-reflection on how your support process works from first conversation to review. Shows strengths and next steps, not a score.
Screening questions, based on ICO guidance, to help you decide whether new learner support software is likely to need a data protection impact assessment.
Check handouts, slides, documents and video against WCAG 2.2 and plain-language good practice, and print a checklist report.
Every tool runs in your web browser using code on the page itself. What you type is not sent to Inclusion Studio or to anyone else, and nothing is saved in cookies or browser storage. When you refresh or close the page, it is gone. If you download a result, it is saved only to your own device.
Even so, treat any printed or downloaded result as you would any other learner record. Use a first name or initials, keep it with your organisation’s records, and follow your own data protection procedures. Our guide to special category data in education explains why disability and health information needs extra care.
For background on the duties behind the tools, read the guides, starting with reasonable adjustments in further education and how to write a learner support plan. For ready-made documents, see the templates. The guides explain duties and good practice; they are not legal advice.

No. The tools work on their own. They follow the same Understand, Agree, Deliver and Review journey that Inclusion Studio is being built around.
We are working with a small number of England FE colleges and apprenticeship providers first. Tell us about your learner support and we will be in touch.
