Draft for review Updated

Draft for review. This document is a working draft prepared before launch. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal adviser and will be finalised before any real personal data is processed.

In short

These draft terms cover your use of this website, its guides, templates and free tools. The content is general information, not legal or professional advice, and these terms do not cover the Inclusion Studio service, which has its own agreement.

Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a qualified adviser. Text in square brackets will be completed before the website launches.

These terms apply when you use this website. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Who runs this website?

This website is run by Tech Geek UK Ltd (“Inclusion Studio”, “we”, “us”), which operates Inclusion Studio. Tech Geek UK Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 09834597 and registered office at Rourke House, Kingsbury Crescent, Watermans Business Park, Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 3BA. You can contact us through our contact page.

What do these terms cover?

They cover the public website, including the guides, glossary, templates and free tools. They do not cover the Inclusion Studio service. Organisations that use the service, including pilot providers, agree separate terms and a data processing agreement. Our acceptable use policy will apply to the service.

Is the content on this website advice?

No. Our guides, templates and free tools are general information to help people who support learners. We link to the primary sources so you can check the detail. They are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and they do not replace your own judgement or your organisation’s policies.

Law, funding rules and official guidance change. We try to keep pages accurate and show when each was last updated, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or current. Check the primary source before relying on anything important, and take professional advice where you need it.

What does the website say about the product?

Inclusion Studio is pre-pilot. Where the website describes features, we say whether they exist in the prototype, are in development or are planned. Descriptions of planned features are statements of intent, not commitments. Nothing on this website is an offer to supply the service.

Can I reuse content from this website?

We own, or have permission to use, the content on this website, including text, design and images. [Licence to be confirmed. Proposed: you may copy, print and adapt our templates and checklists for use within your own organisation, including for learners and staff, without asking us. You may share links to any page.]

You may not, without our written permission:

  • republish our guides or other content as your own, or sell it;
  • remove our name or source references from material you share;
  • use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your organisation.

What must I not do when using the website?

You must not:

  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server it runs on or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful material;
  • attack the website, for example through a denial-of-service attack;
  • use automated tools to copy large parts of the website in a way that affects its performance;
  • use the website for anything unlawful.

These actions may be offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. If you find a security problem, please follow our responsible disclosure policy. Good-faith research that follows that policy is authorised.

We link to other websites, mainly official sources such as legislation.gov.uk and gov.uk. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link does not mean we endorse the site.

Will the website always be available?

We aim to keep it available but cannot guarantee that. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. The free tools are provided as they are, without charge.

What is our responsibility to you?

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

[Further limitation of liability wording, distinguishing business users and consumers, to be completed after legal review.] If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

How do you handle my personal data?

See our privacy notice and cookie policy. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

Can these terms change?

Yes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check this page when you use the website.

Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. [Jurisdiction clause to be confirmed after legal review, including the position for users in Scotland and Northern Ireland.]
